The debut arrives first; a painter's love story follows; and older, darker worlds are taking shape behind them. Every book written from the same conviction — that reality has more layers than we're taught to admit.

A life's work, hung in one room.
Every canvas in Achu's Radha exists — the shore paintings, the sketchbook pages, the children's drawings. They wait in a quiet charcoal room, lit like a corridor of memory. The captions withhold; the book explains.
Shibu Charon was born in South India. He has lived and worked in several parts of India and, for some years, in the Middle East, before moving with his family to Norway, where he now writes.
His fiction is concerned with the life unseen — the subtle forces, the quiet signs, the dimension of experience that does not fit inside the physical. He writes not to argue whether the unseen is real, but for readers who already feel it. October Days is his first novel; further work is in progress.
The astrologer at the heart of the novel keeps her own door. Scan from the book — or step across from here — and she is already expecting you.
Her reading room reads the birth chart across Western and Jyotisha (sidereal) skies — a soul-map, in her own register. A quick taste is free; the serious reading goes deeper, by her hand.

A quiet letter now and then — a chapter's birth, a title revealed, the paintings' door opened, a launch announced. For readers of the unseen.
